Welcome to Elspal

Welcome to Elspal

My name is Sergey Plokhotnyuk

I have been living in Vietnam, in Nha Trang, for two years now. I truly love this country, its kind people, the climate, and the local culture

This service did not appear by accident. Almost every week, someone from my friends, acquaintances, or friends of friends would ask me the same questions:

  • Do you know if there is a studio or apartment for rent right now?
  • How do people even look for housing by neighborhood here?
  • I like your area. Where can I look for a villa?

And the answers were usually the same too:

  • Walk around the neighborhood, maybe you will find something
  • You need to ask a realtor, I can send you a contact

The funny part is that not long ago, I was in exactly the same position. Six months ago, my family and I were moving out of our apartment and looking for a bigger place. I was scrolling through dozens of Telegram chats, messaging realtors on Zalo, searching online, checking Facebook, driving around neighborhoods, and looking for signs that said “Rent”

It took far too much time and energy. I kept getting confused about who I had already messaged, what I had already seen, and what I had not. And even when I found something interesting, it often turned out later that the conditions did not work for me

That is the main problem with finding housing in Vietnam. There is still no clear and centralized service where you can open a map, browse listings, see the rental terms right away, and calmly compare options

And long-term rentals are very different from booking a hotel. People need to understand not only the price, but also the deposit, utility costs, management fees, pet policies, the character of the neighborhood, and whether it will actually be comfortable to live there for months or longer

That is why I created elspal. So that people who are looking for housing or planning a move can do it more easily, faster, and with less stress. So they do not have to spend hours digging through endless chats, groups, and conversations

And so that owners and realtors can have an easier process too, without having to post the same listing across different social networks, chats, and communities

From the very beginning, I wanted elspal to be simple, clear, and genuinely useful. And I am not going to turn it into a faceless platform “for the whole world.” It will always stay focused on Vietnam, so it can remain local, alive, cozy, and convenient

I hope it truly helps you find your place here 🫡
